On Wednesday, October 9th, all 10th grade students will be participating in Belco Community Credit Union Financial Reality Fair.
Event Schedule in the Newport Middle School Gym:
Cumberland Area Career Technical Center 10th grade students: 8:45-10:15
10th grade students: 12:00-2:00 p.m.
The purpose of this experience is to provide students with a dose of financial reality based upon their career of choice. Students will have time to purchase necessities and be tempted to purchase wants while following a budget based upon their career choice monthly salary. At the end of the session students will review their budget with a financial counselor.
Your student will be bringing home a completed budget sheet personal to them. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.
